Shawn Lowrie has more than 25 years of management, leadership and organizational development experience in industries spanning from Behavioral Health to Educational Technology.  He has a proven track record in the successful delivery of national marketing strategies, academic technology integration, client engagement and account management.

He has served in a leadership capacity as a national Consultant and Account Executive for many districts for publishers such as National Geographic, Hampton Brown, Ripple Effects and the Oregon State Health System.

His undergraduate studies were at George Fox University in Behavioral Sciences with an emphasis in Developmental Psychology, while he also holds certifications in Strategic Marketing, Change Management and E-Business.

Shawn’s academic background engendered a humanistic understanding of personal empowerment and paved the way towards garnering insight into what motivates and compels individuals to support others, in both a socio-cultural and academic milieu. Bringing his expertise in educational technology to the classrooms has proven to segue into working with teachers and administrators around the nation.

Contracting with an international society and individual districts has proven to achieve results by engaging teachers, students and administrators alike. In-depth knowledge of data driven platforms for different content areas has ignited teacher participation to increase by as much as 100%. Over the past ten years, Shawn has worked with several districts in ongoing relationships; partnering with them to build formidable relationships to optimize outcomes and contextualize each district’s unique missions, values, pedagogies and philosophies. By working with some of the leaders in the fields of ELA and ESL, program content has been distilled into powerful and meaningful workshops that teachers can take back to their classrooms and implement immediately.

Shawn’s background as a Mental Health Therapist for several years in Oregon has lent invaluable experience in social and emotional interventions. As a member on countless treatment teams, Shawn brings tools for orchestrating symbiotic participation and plans for optimal outcomes. Dynamic facilitation leads to high levels of active participation and ownership of new skills and tools; whether they are software or strategies.

While bringing new technology for anti-bullying, behavioral RtI, Common Core solutions, and language development, teachers garner accessible tools to own and implement the programs as their own.

Shawn has woven motivational content into his trainings. Teachers need to be heard just as much as edified with supports to manage their larger-than-ever class sizes.
